A Magazine Curated By is proud to present ‘The Cosmo Sketches’, an exhibition of new and existing works by the British illustrator Richard Kilroy at Tom Greyhound boutique in Paris, on the occasion of the Men’s Spring Summer 2015 fashion week.
Showcasing Kilroy’s finessed, graphic style of fashion illustration, the exhibition consists of new works featuring Australian model Cosmo MacDonald, sketched from a series of live sessions in Kilroy’s East London studio. Demonstrating the tangible nature of fashion illustration, these works depict a selection of Autumn Winter 2014-15 designs by J.W. Anderson, Christopher Kane, Maison Martin Margiela, Kenzo, Julien David and Kris Van Assche. Accompanied by short-run print editions from the artist’s extensive archive, The Cosmo Sketches documents an evolution in mens’ wear studies and a laser focus on the creations of avant-garde and emerging designers.
‘The Cosmo Sketches’ by Richard Kilroy from June 26th – July 26th, 2014
As part of the line-up for House of Illustration's June schedule, I will be doing a presentation and talk on my work as an illustrator, and also as a promoter of the work of others, both for Decoy and regarding my upcoming book with Thames & Hudson on the best in contemporary menswear illustration.
